Geauga Lake Memorabilia

Has anyone heard about an auction Six Flags is holding to sell off the Geauga Lake leftovers they have no use for? Need to know where and when or if it is even true.
I have never heard of that, but I would love some old GL stuff! I thought they were just opening a little store in the park with the stuff or something.

At Six Flags Ohio this summer will be a small store with a sign that reads "Rosie's General Store". In this store it will be full of all the old GLP merchandise, along with signs, and left over employee uniforms.

As for an auction, I've never heard of that.

There is a sale (not auction) in Aurora this weekend at the Aurora Woodlands Hotel. See ther Great Ohio Coaster Club homepage for more details.

And yes, there is to a be a store in the new Six Flags park selling Geauga Lake items.
Thanks Jim, That's the info I was looking for....
There was also a silent auction and sale at the Woodlands hotel this past weekend...

The park is not getting the kind of money they expected to get... when I left on Saturday afternoon, the GIANT Geauga lake sign that hung on the main gate clock tower had 3 bids made on it, and was at $350. The minimum bid was to be $1,000.
