Geauga Lake launches new website

That was already mentioned I believe.

So how bad was it? I mean, like, take hedge clippers to the kid or what?

They need to fix some bugs. I tried to run the trip planner and I got an error page. Oh well, it's only been online, what, a day?

Armpit boy probably told all his friends and family, "Hey, I'm on the Geauga Lake page! Go check it out!" - and then you guys cause it to disappear.

Poor armpit boy. :(

My fault. I should've kept my revulsion to myself. I didn't mean to take the glory away from the poor guy.

Although I can't help but feel a little pride for being the initial cause of Pit Guy's removal. :)

what ride was he on?

Clint, just what exactly are you referring to? :)

Looks like a good edition to what Geauga Lake needs! I didnt' get to see pitt-boy, lol!
Not to shabby. I like it. It gives a good twist of the feel of Cedar Point's most recent new design.

Seven inversions on Thunderhawk and eight on X-Flight?
and they say that RWB has two trains...are they getting the second during the rehab

Vekoma does claim that flying dutchman's have 8 inversions sam. Thunderhawks stats are still wrong from the old GL website pre-sfo days.

in·vert (n-vûrt) -
  1. To turn inside out or upside down: invert an hourglass.
  2. To reverse the position, order, or condition of: invert the subject and predicate of a sentence.

By that defiition from dictionary.com, I can see Dutchmen having 9 inversions (roll at lift, roll before loop, loop (2), inline (2), inline (2), roll at end), although that is a literal definition that every time you reverse your position, you're inverting. That would mean that most coasters could double their inversion count. Watch for Raptor to have 12 inversions next year! Or, in the case of SLCs, since their stats always seem to vary wildly, someone should market theirs as having over 2000 feet of inversions! ;)

You can just refer to me as "marketing genius" from now on.

OH, as to the RWB they have always had 2 trains, the rehab was the retracking, not anything to do with the trains.
Or maybe it does...

I love that invisible train bobs had, ran great. ;)

Actually DC Bobs has only had 1 train since the 03 season. Hopefully a second one will make its way to the park this season. *** Edited 2/3/2005 3:02:11 AM UTC by XFlight***

Also notice for X-Flight it says three 24-passenger trains, does that mean that they may run all three trains this year!!!!!

2005 Villain Laps: 72 2005 Geagua Lake Visits: 33 2004 Geauga Lake Visits: 29
We all know that RWB and the Villain are getting refurbished...but...did CF tell us what the final train situation is gonna be on those two coasters???

As a side note I do think the Big Dipper needs a little TLC. Unfortunately, some of the rough spots of that coaster actually make the airtime more ridiculous!!

Peppermint, I don't think so. Load time on X-Flight are seemingly around the same amount of load time it takes to load Mantis @ CP... which lists three trains on the CP website. But they haven't run all three trains in a long time.
While X-Flight has a third train, that train is not in operation. While the ride will most likely never run three trains, it should have a smooth two train operation for 2005. I can't say much, other than that the Lemon Chill Guy (tm) tells me they are getting new trains this year!
