I was there all day. Most of the shots were taken early in the day.

I was there from about 4pm to 6pm and it was far from dead then. :)

I had to get a few rides in on Dipper just in case. Most of the coasters were only single train ops...made for some unnecessarily long waits, but it was nice seeing so many people there having a good time. GL needs to figure out how to do that last part more often.

Looking at all those makes me a little nostalgic for a park I've never been to and for rides that haven't been confirmed to be going anywhere. It's such a shame that the park didn't turn out like Cedar Fair wanted it to, just seems like a lot of baggage that caused that.

It may not have anything to do with anything, but the remnant theming from Six Flags looks shoddy.

When I visited last year and saw this, it just gave me a laugh. I know they removed the lettering, but you can still clearly read it. You would think they would have painted it, covered it up, or something.

Great photos! My pals and I were there on Saturday and had an AWESOME time! I really dug Octoberfest!

Little did we know that would be the LAST time visiting the park. :-/

Still, we had a blast! RIP GL. :(

I'm glad I got the chance to visit one of these "last year" parks this season. Even though the place was a hunk o' junk after CP for 2 days, I feel fortunate just to get the chance to go.

My non-enthusiast friends cheered when I told them it was closing though...

Oh how I'd be the happiest person in the world if Cedar Point took away Mantis and brought in Dominator for 2008. NEVER will happen...oh but I can dream! I loved Dominator...it will be fun to see where all the rides are heading to.
