Geauga Lake gets new ad agency

Geauga Lake has tapped Akron’s Hitchcock Fleming & Associates to be its ad shop of record, ending its affiliation with Cleveland firm Liggett-Stashower Inc. Liggett will continue to do ad work for Cedar Point.

This is too funny. Weren't we talking about the bad marketing last year just a few days ago?

And obviously the Wadsworth-based website development team of Website Design & Development, Ltd. will continue for the entire CF chain, it appears.

They don't do Knott's or Worlds of Fun. If they did Knott's, the site wouldn't have that stupid drop-down no one ever notices for primary navigation. Usability 101...

"Navigability" is for rivers, not websites...;)

They don't do Michigan's Adventure either. That site is just plain nasty.

MIA's site isn't bad. It's crisp and clean, simple and clear.

Designed just like it should have been circa 1996.

If you ask me, I think they should get better people to design the CP and GLP sites...;)
