Geauga Lake Discounts?

joe.'s avatar
I did some searching, but I really haven't found any discounts on Geauga Lake admission. Does anyone know of any easy admission discounts?
Geauga Lake doesn't even EXIST anymore. Hate to break it to you. The park closed after the '06 season.

If Joe wants to ride a PIECE of GL, head down to King's Island & ride Firehawk (the coaster formally known as X-Flight)

^ Hopman, it closed after 2007.

I still think they are offering discounts for the waterpark.

and dude, give him a little credit, he is probably talking about the water park that is named: Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom

How true. I forgot about that. I guess i had my dates mixed up about GL's closing.

Right, I think he's referring to the waterpark. If not, I hope he didn't plan his trip around the amusement park still being there.

Jesus... And here I thought it was a safe question.

I mean WWK. "Greauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom." The property which part of was formerly known as "Geauga Lake". The place with all the water slides, owned by Cedar Fair.

^You can never ask a safe question on Coasterbuzz

So anyway... anyone know of any admission discounts?
The last time I was at Taco Bell, they had coupons for the Cedar Fair parks - about $3 off at GL. That's the best you'll find, I think.
If you plan on going more than once, a season pass would make more sense to purchase.

For 20 bucks more than a one day admission, you get unlimited visits plus it covers parking fees.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

Thanks Jess and Chitown. I've already got myself covered with the pass, but it's the others going with me who I'd like to shave a few bucks off for.
Heh. 7 year Coasterbuzz Club Member Joe is treated as a newbie!

lol

On a more personal note; thanks for stealing my Tiger's game date to sneak away to geauga lake without even inviting me. ;-)

You want to Join us for the (rescheduled) game on Sunday?

(reply via text or email, I am not even sure why I typed this here)

Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.

Is Geagua Lake still relevant? In all seriousness....is the water park ever busy?

^WAsn't busy yesterday. We gave the place a fly-by and saw maybe 75 cars in the lot at about 2pm.
