I understand Geauga Lake is closed...

I'm currently on a trip in Cleveland, and took a side trip to Geauga Lake to say my final good byes. (Geauga Lake being my childhood home park)

This trip was not originally intended, so I didn't bring my digital camera, instead the photos were taken with my iPhone. Also, let it be noted all photos were taken within public access.

There is something really eerie about those pictures.

Those pictures remind me of the time a few years ago when I passed the site of Dogpatch USA.

It is very errie and sad. *** Edited 12/31/2007 8:36:18 AM UTC by Sawblade5***

Love the haunting "Blair Witch" quality of the photos!

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
I'd mention how those pictures renewed my sorrow, shock and anger, but I'm not wearing my flame-retardant kit today.

I drove by there today. (on the way back home to Columbus from my parents house in Geauga County) just to see her this way one more time. I also had that same feeling in me.

Im going to go to Wildwater Kingdom next year, because I enjoy amusement and waterparks, but I don't know how I'll be when I do, or even if there will be much of anything left of the older park when that happens.

I'm Happy to see the woodies still standing, But for how long???

Driven to the point of insanity

I have lunch out there every week at the new BWW next door.

Doesn't have any effect on me. :)
