Geauga Lake and Kennywood battle with ads

With summer in full swing, Geauga Lake and Kennywood park in Pennsylvania are taking each other on with rattles and rumbles worthy of one of their signature wooden roller coasters. Running pointed ads and sending mascots deep in each other’s territory, the advertising battle echoes all along the 120 miles separating the two parks.

Perhaps Geauga Lake should put up some billboards in Wheeling...
I'm not real familiar with GL market. I'm guessing since they are so quick to reach out into other markets that they must not have a good local base. The GL sign while leaving KW is in an excellent location. While having fun at an amusement park is fresh in your mind from being at KW all day, the billboard may inspire a conversation on your way home about taking a trip up to GL.

On second note; I understand the way KW runs its rides. I've read over and over on these posts about how these operations work. That point said, on trips to the park I still get aggravated waiting in line for 30-45 minutes while only one train is running. I think its bad business to say "well, they know what they are doing because they have been doing it for over 100 years." I think it would be arrogant of KW not to try to improve its operations for customer satisfaction.

What is needed is to design more coasters so that the second train can be stacked at the entrance to the station when the trains are not filling up right away. That way you can always have the second train in operation even if trains are not being dispatched at the maximum rate. This would avoid those awkward situations where the line gets too long with one train but the trains don't fill up completely with two trains in use.
