Today I visited Geauga Lake from 2:30ish until around closing time.. It was a pretty good trip overall, basically NO lines, great atmosphere, and decent weather.

*Grading Scale 1=Worst 5=Decent 10=Awesome Ride!*

First ride of the day was Texas Twister.

TT was okay, but I didn't go upside down, except for one time. The ride is boring if you aren't going upside down, and I was the only person on the ride.

TT gets a 4/10.

Next up was the Dominator, which I rode 4 different times in 4 different seats. Up first was the Back Right Seat.

Nice amount of airtime, but you could feel the vibrations from the train.

Back right-9/10

Next was back left which gave a significantly better ride than the right. I don't know why but it didn't vibrate as much, and seemed a lot faster.

Back left-10/10

Front left was a bit rough around the edges, but still a pretty great ride.

Front Left-9/10

Front right was a pretty awesome ride, and I'm glad that the restraints had seat belts, because I swore I was going to fly out of the seat going through the loop and cobra roll. Nice airtime in this seat.

Front right-10/10

Overall 9.5/10

Next up was my still favorite woodie Raging Wolf Bobs. Now I haven't rode it since they did the re-tracking, so I didn't know what to expect.

First I rode in the back right-my favorite seat-they had the red train on, which I prefer the black one...and the wheels squeaked real bad, but it still gave an amazing ride.

Back right 9/10

Front right you can definatly tell the change in this ride. The ride FLYS through it's course. It was so AMAZING!!!.

Front right-10/10

Overall-9.5/10

Next up I took the shuttles to the other side, and took advantage of the 25 cent cotton candy.

For the flat rides, I don't remember in what order I rode them, I just know I went on Black Squid 4 times, 3 of which were right in a row..

I rode Bounty 5 times, 2 time in a row.

-Yo-yo-2 times in a row

-Thriller Bees-1

-Pirate's Flight-1

-Dino Island II: Escape From Dino Island-1

-Boardwalk Typhoon-1

Overall it was a good trip, just I kept being bothered by all my friends. The signs say "Do not disturb the Operator" but they should say "Do not irritate the guests!" Kidding about the last part, but if you visit a park, and you work there, stay away from the area where your friends work...lol..

RWB's ran a little sluggish last weekend, which was to be expected due to the cold and the early season.

I was disappionted to see Thriller Bees running their "non-swooping-out" program. I got dizzy on that damn thing last year, I don't plan on riding it ever again until they change the program back to what it was.

I haven't had an opportunity to see the Thriller Bees on the swooping out position...

I rode that a few years ago. I got dizzy as well. Thought it was just me.

We were there on Saturday. I thought RWB was running a little slow too, but at least it was smooth. I can't wait to ride it later in the season.

My daughter wanted to ride Thriller Bees (even though it wasn't swinging) and it was moms turn to ride. That thing has some pretty good Gs. I just stared at one spot the whole ride and was ok when I got off, I'm sure the Dramamine helped.

The park looked good and only 2 rides were closed, Skyscraper and Grizzly Run. It was too cold for Grizzly Run anyway. They were running 2 trains on Dominator, Villian and Big Dipper, everything else had one train running, but there was no need for two trains as the park was not busy at all.

Glad to hear the good report about the RWB. This could be the year I get to GL.
