Gator Braves the Hurricane...

...and the hits just keep on coming. A mandatory evacuation of non-residents and visitors was just ordered for the Florida Keys.

It has been nice knowing you all. Jeff, you can give my screenname to someone you feel worthy.

It figures, I will meet my end by a Russian after all! Who said the cold war was over?

Wow, Florida can't win. An actual category 5 on the way. Not good.

And to think: Walt picked Orlando because of it's location away from the beaches and hurricane dangers. Orlando received a good smack by the past two storms.

Good thing the whole *Global Warming* hypothesis has finally been de-bunked, eh? ;)

Those of you in the South, get OUT. Nothing is worth risking your life over! And to think we NEVER even got a hurricane-strength GUST...strongest winds we got were 60-70 mph, and that only in gusts. Town (Gainesville) is a disaster area, with flooding having still quite a few large roads unusable. I really feel for anyone who came too close to Frances, she was one mean....storm.

Jeff, glad you and Lauren are OK, we still *could* get to Nawlins sometime this fall...

Enough seriousness!

Barring Ivan (the terrible) doing anything major, the *underground* word is that Cypress just might be ready to open in time for IAAPA, should anyone still want to come TO Florida, LOL...

bill, knew Jim used inches instead of metres, but can't figure out why he doesn't use a ruler.....oh, RULE....my bad, nevermind...;)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Yah know, A storm that still kicks 50mph gust 900 miles away in Cincinnati Ohio is nothing to laugh at. Tina and those east of here got much more rain than we did but it still compares nothing to what FL, GA, SC and others got.

Ivan, Looks like this is gonna slam the gulf somewheres. I really pray for those people. Expecially if it keeps its catagory 4 or 5 status. Most tornados aren't much more than its 160+ MPH winds.

Chuck, wishing everyone well and glad to hear Gators can swim.
