Gastrointestinal illness outbreak grows among visitors to Great Escape indoor water park

The number of people who reported falling ill after visiting Six Flags Great Escape Lodge and Indoor Water Park in Queensbury last weekend has risen to 143, according to the state Health Department. The gastrointestinal illness causes severe vomiting and diarrhea for about 12 hours. It takes at least a day or two to fully recover. For healthy people, it is not a serious infection, according to health officials.
