GAS?

Which pays for a excellent Train and transit system that exist almost all over europe.

I agree with Peabody, who gives a rat's ass about the gas prices. Sure, we are all going to be paying more and griping about how our wallets are being raped and we are getting ripped off (I know I am...that's why I filled up my car at a nice, cheap $2.79 here in Charleston before it skyrockets tomorrow. Well, that's what they are predicting anyway!)

Anyway, there are far more important things here, which is the lives of thousands and thousands trying to get out of Houston as we speak. Worrying about gas prices is the LAST thing on these folks' minds.

I saw an article in the paper this morning that showed a picture of a guy standing next to the open driver door of his car, one hand in on the steering wheel and pushing. The caption said something about how the traffic was bottled up, so he turned the engine off and pushed the car to save gas. How sad that it has to come to that :( (although very clever!)

I just got home from work and stopped at a BP in Hickory Hills and it was $2.77. I wish I could buy gas for the peeps that have run out of gas trying to flee.

My Beautiful wife, Julia, is the best thing that has ever happened to me!

Unbelievably in the Chicago area, I have found it at 2.66 a gallon. I dont expect that price to be there starting tomorrow.

I pray for the people in Rita's path and especially pray for the people that are in the path of her that had to deal with Katrina.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

Chitown, I stopped on the turnpike back in august and it was 2.66 in chicago.

2.39 in Gary then.

$ 5.49 a gallon here in Belgium.
