Tom Dusenberry, the president of Hasbro Interactive, released that they will be making another expansion pack for the well known RollerCoaster Tycoon game. Apparently the expansion pack will be released towards the end of the year. Other reports from around the Internet indicate that the game's creator, Chris Sawyer, knows nothing about it.

Here's a quote I found from Chris Sawyer:
"...he knows nothing about it. This is what he said exactly:
'I found a press release quoting Tom Dusenberry (boss of HI) saying that there will be a further RCT add-on pack later this year. And I've just had an email from the marketing anager,
who was convinced that a further add-on was in production. I feel like I've just woken up in an alternative reality! Someone's going to end up with egg on their face, and it won't be me.'"
Who knows what's going on. Is it real or isn't it? Only time will tell.
I tend to think not. And if it does come out I doubt it will be out at the end of this year. Because as fast as those poeple work it will be out oh in about 3 years. I am really impressed with the status of the ride exchange, boy they are fast. ;)

Whose Line is it Anyway?
Lets get one thing straight. The webmaster has nothing to do with the development team. All he does is makes webpages, and not just the RCT one. Give the man some credit. If you were runing a couple websites, it can get a little backed up. :)
I tend to think that they will come out with another expansion pack. I'm sure Chirs Sawyer didn't say anything about the project, because it wasn't officially announced as of then. Also, with the success of Corkscrew Follies (which I personally still have to get sometime) was a huge sucess and I'm sure another add-on would be just as good, and helps sell more of the Orgional Platform title.

I never meant to say anything bad about the webmaster. I was talking about the RCT team. I tend to think it must be on the back burner. They are good in updating bugs and putting out new patches though. I just think that waiting about 6-8 months (somewhere in there) for the R.E. and it still not being done is a little long.
