GADV's New Coaster Layout release

Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce the NEW B:TR....so eventually every park that has a BTR can expect to get a SUF. Sometime I feel like SF Parks are almost all a like--then on that note, when can we expect one at SFStL? :)

That pretzel loop literally takes your breath away. It has to be one of the single most intense inversions ever created. I dont think the newer one will take that much intensity away.. it will definitely still be pretty damn intense.

Thanks for the support rollergator. I kinda negate that old saying around here "those who know don't tell". I am an enthusiast first and foremost. If I am able to provide information, I usually do. And being on the boards, it makes it perfect since most people dont believe me anyways ;)

I dont think SF will clone this thing near as much as they did the inverted. Remember, when B&M created their invert, it was revolutionary. It paved the way for a new breed of design. Their flyer is an enhancement of an ride already out there.

BTW, I rode X-Flight again last week and I forgot how intense that thing really is. That loop on your back is awesome!

I am struggling to name something. I am not going to get into a who is right and who is wrong, but I have reason to believe that Mr. Godsey is not correct all (or nearly all) the time. Oct. 23 when the new ride is announced the details will be known. I think I'll wait until then to believe anything.

Congratulations on your new coaster new Jersey! Maybe if SFGAm was as smart as SFGADv we would also be keeping our Arrow Mega Looper and be reciving a new Flying coaster.

The great thing about these boards is your right to believe what you want to believe and everything you read on here is definitely not the word of God. Some things I am privy to, others I am not.

I'm not gonna get into a debate over whether or not anything I have said has come to pass. It really doesn't make any difference to me whether people believe me or not. I cannot control they way people think about me. Oh well, the old saying still holds true today... "You cant please all of the people all of the time"

You are correct, people can believe whatever they want. And you're correct, you never said your word is the word of God (etc etc). But the general consensus here is "if Godsey says it, it must be true." I am offering a different viewpoint, saying that usually, things you say do not in fact come true.

Hey, I have absolutely nothing against you whatsoever. I wish you the best of luck with your freelance consulting busniess and everything. I am just saying usually stuff that you post on here doesn't happen, that's all.

Well, I happen to be in the know because I know everything! I have it on good authority that the new Superman ride for 2K3 will indeed be a Vekoma Rollerskater. Yes, thats right. SFGAdv will be getting a brand new Rollerskater for all of those little tykes out there!

Those in the know can tell! When you know everything it is always fun to show that off ;)

So if I don't talk about anything on here that means I know something??? Does that go for anyone on here as well? I thought the boards were created so people can voice their opinions. Most of the things I post on here are my opinions. When you see the words "I think" prepending anything I say, its usually my opinion. People also need to realize that people that run enthusiasts websites are not the authority in the industry as well. I cant fathom how people think sixflagsnews.com is right all the time.

See, I dont believe that it always the case. Sometimes information is given for the sole purpose of it leaking out on these boards. I know lots of industry people that LOVE to stir up controversy on the boards. Look at PKI. They had everyone buzzing about what Tomb Raider was when most industry people knew exactly what it was. With their vague descriptions and concept art, it led people to believe that it was some sort of coaster or simulator experience. Even with people insiting it was a topspin on here and other boards with one site even producing site plans, people still couldn't believe it. Sometimes information is provided to leak out to the public.

I've found that most "people who know" absolutely DO talk. They talk to their own "clique" of industry people, who then talk to their friends, who then reveal quite a bit on the internet.

Ask yourself, how many times in the last 2 or 3 years have you absolutely been surprised by a park's announcement?

It's called buzz...

It's amazing how fast information spreads. I tell something to someone in confidence and the next thing I know, I am getting e-mails about it and the same damn information shows up on screamscape and other sites.. go figure! ;)

Wasn't there some post on here a while back saying that Godsey was basically a fraud? That he's never worked for anyone that he claims to have worked for? I think it was the original Wild Country post-I searched for it, but I couldn't find it.

I see "people who know" placing hints on this board all the time. Whether they are hints of the truth, hints to get people talking, or hints to spread misinformation I see it happening a lot. Jeff hints just as Chris, myself, and others do [although I merely consider myself someone who is "occasionally in the know."].

I do believe its entirely possible to hint at a coming attraction and not break your promise of confidentiality.

Mark, don't worry... I dont take things like that personally.. Just for the record.. the people that started that stuff about me didn't have much to say when I gave them and Thrillnetwork contact names and numbers of people to call and ask about me. What is really strange is that the guy that started that crap was supposedly a friend and just before that, I gave him a contact number for Intamin, Ltd. Stupid me, I gave him a number that Sandor personally answers occasionally... DOH! The guy supposedly called some places, talked to secretaries, and asked them if they knew who I was. First of all, how on Earth would a secretary know me by name? and secondly, why would companies disclose that kind of information to a 15 year old on the phone?

Also for the record, I have joined IAAPA as a full member now and my website will be debuting very soon.

Back to Six Flags I don't think it will be a clone of S:UF hopefully not. I think that it will have the elements as S:UF but come in different orders and maybe have something extra. Since they said its taller and faster than if the pretzel loop comes after the first drop than it will be just as intense but maybe a little bigger by like a few feet. I just hope people don't over hype it and expect something when they get on waiting to get the best ride on earth and come off disappointed like they did with Nitro. I think you should ride it and get your own opinion before listening to someone elses.
