GAdv permit?!?

I won't complain or be dissapointed at all if SFGAdv. doesn't get a new coaster next year.  It's a great park and I'll have tons of fun even if they don't add a new coaster.  However I really want SFGAdv. to get a new woodie either from CCI.  They could build a great woodie for about $3-4 million.  Thats one thing Great Adventure really could use, more wood.

I find it amazing to hear people complain because their home park isn't going to get another new coaster this year.  I grew up with a park, Pontchartrain Beach, that got one new coaster, a wild mouse, in the 12 years that I lived by it.
Alough my last post might contradict this post a little, if something is given to gadv next year i think it should be a drop ride.  That's the one thing (besides maybe another woodie) that the park lacks.  I think every park should have a drop ride.  And btw, does gadv have a chute the chutes?? I know they have the rapids ride and two log rides, but i cannot remember if they have a chute the chutes or not.  If they don't have one, i think they should get one.  An impulse might be cool too, but any impulse built next year will be blown over by cedar points i bet. Oh, one more thing i think it would be cool if gadv gets a huss delirium.

Yeah, its has a chute the chutes its right next to Chiller.  It's nothing special, but its a fun way to cool off.  I agree GA could use an updated drop ride, but Freefall is still tons of fun.  I'd prefer more wood :)

In April May and half of June left side of Rolling Thunder,Skull Mountain,Viper,Robin and BBLTT were shut down.
Im not complaining in any way cause there are about 7 Major rides i have never been on in the park.
1.Batman chiller w/ lapbars 2.Robin chiller lapbars 3.Dare Devil Dive 4.Slingshot 5.Juming Jackflash 6.Left side Rolling Thunder 7.Alcatraz! that's like a whole day at GA.

Im just want to know if theres a chance for a Gyro drop or Coaster? Xfinger for a stand up!

The left side of RT is a pretty smooth wood and Robin w/ lap bars is described in 2 words simply amazing. Alcatraz and DDD are something you should try once to but its pretty expensive.
MagnumForce, this thread is about Six Flags Great Adventure, not Six Flags Great America.  We have a Viper but its not wooden its a TOGO.

To the best of my knowledge Skull Mountain was open in april may and june....i only worked at that ride at least twice a week through those months lol
Nitro230ft., Great Adventure already had a stand-up called Shockwave, and I rode it! Of course, you can always go to Astroworld to ride it now as Batman the Escape.

SFA 2002-What are they building?

Was the Shockwave, now Batman the Escapse, good? It's an older stand up so I would think it's got some head banging, right?
Intamin Fan, because of Shocwave, I still hope Great Adventure takes another try at a stand up but go the B&M way! I was 6 when the Shockwave opened and I can SO.... remember seeing it at the entrance gate. It looked so cool, YET I was 6 and like 42 inches so I couldn't go on it! The cool thing is that my cousin did! she not a coaster fan so she didn't like it very much. She's also evil might I add. lol J/k

P>hen i was at great adventure, both sides of rolling thunder were open, robin was closed, revolution was closed, jumping jack flash was closed, parachute drop closed, viper closed, the enterprise ride (name?) was closed and i believe one or maybe both of the kiddie coasters were closed.  That's not too bad however, i was really disappointed that i didn't get to ride revolution and jumping jack flash.  The parachute tower looked cool too.  /P>
P>FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff">Perhaps gadv will get a drop ride, cheap (money wise ;) ) coaster and perhaps some more water slides for hurricane harbor?? That would be a decent expansion...i'd take it!/P>
