With the massive construction going on Grand Ave., I foresee traffic nightmares this summer. They have the road down to one lane. Peoples best bet would be to exit the Washington St. access when leaving. If you want to head north on the tollway just go left on Washington, then right on Rte 21(Milwaukee Ave.). The ramp for the tollway is on the right. For those that need to go south(Towards Chicago), go left on Washington, then right on Oplaine Rd., then right on Rte 120. The ramp for the tollway is on the right.
This is mostly for people that plan on visiting this summer and arent familiar with the area. Hope this helps. Could possibly eliminate alot of traffic headaches.

I love the entrance under American Eagle. I think we take that way every time :)

Good thing Glitch01. You should see how far of a stretch this construction is. It starts around Gurnee Mills and goes all the way into Waukegan. It is messed up. However this road (Grand Ave.) needs to be worked on badly. Your shocks were put to the test when driving this stretch.

Maybe I should post a topic about this but it would probably get closed.
Where is SFGAm going to expand? Into the parking lot, are they going to take more things out, or do they own land across the street and could make a monorail service or something?

When will......V2.......open.....*dies* (Vertical Velocity opens next day)
Chi, the only thing about the AE entrance/exit (in my experience) is that you have to take a real convoluted route to get to I-94 SOUTH. So for those that may be staying nearer to Chicago proper, keep your eyes alert for the signs as they are NOT hard to miss.

all you people and your fancy toll roads. I'm perfectly happy with my Rt. 41 thankyou. BTW does anyone know how to get to GAm from the exit that's labeled as the SFGAm exit? I got lost when I used it to come up and process my pass.
I hope I don't have to resort to leaving two hours before my train departs downtown Waukegan again.
Hasn't construction going on there for a while now. I think it started around this time last year. Well, If you get there in the morning, it shouldn't be too bad, and if you leave after the park closes, most of the people should be out by then. But sometimes you can wait for up to an hour just to get out of the parking lot. So I allways have a backup plan.
