Six Flags really pisses me off, spioling the popular parks with 4D's and Super Inverdigos, and leaving the parks with no competition (ergo KK and EG) to wither away and die. The Quake is never going and it was my all-time favorite ride at "The Kingdom" as it was called at my school. They never run two trains on Chang and T² unless it's HORRIBLY crowded, like 4-5 dividers on Chang. Rides are constantly broken, the employees are total jerks, Chang and T² could use a fresh coat of paint, Twisted Sisters is a blemish on Custom Coasters ride list, T² is so rough, my once favorite ride now gives my migranes. Chang has become stuck 5 time I have been to the park, 3 of them with my on the train, and all of them were human error, by those loveable employees who, while leaning on the control panel, half-asleep, hit the emergengy stop button, delaying my riding time by a half-hour. (Man, I'm using alot of commas) Don't even get me started on Hurricane Bay... crap, I just gotta get all this offa my chest... Well, lets just put it this way: it sucks. Plain and simple. The only reason I ever go is to ride the peeling Chang, my new fav coaster, Thunder Run, the VERY shockingly fixed Hellavator and eat an over-priced funnel-cake.
I would KILL (I mean it) to have Cedar Fair buy KK. I would KILL for a Camp Snoopy instead of a f***ing Loony Tunes Movie Town-which i see commercials for every thirty minutes. I would KILL to get rid of all these Looney Tune, gay arse ride names. I would KILL for a clean park, a well-operated park, a CEDAR FAIR park. and lets not forget: I would KILL for a ride on a fixed Quake, a clean theater, a freshly-painted Chang and T², a smoother T², a better ride than Twisted Sisters for you-know-who's sake.
SF's contributions:
A used, poorly operated river ride.
A sky-coaster that looks like a giant football goal.
The useless lump of wood and steel they call Twisted Sisters.
A kiddie area which is mainly switched around, re-named rides fom the Kingdom.
Uh....that mouse ride... something Express...
What I would give for it to be 1997... where Chang was the longest, tallest fastest Stand-up. Where T² and Chang had a nice coat of paint... ugly none-the-less, but at least it wasnt severly chipped. Where T² wasnt falling apart. Where the lot behind Thunder Run could have been used to build something useful. Where the park was accualy clean, where the rides were working, where the QUAKE was working, where everything was going just as it should: fine.
I know nothing will ever bring back the Vampire or Starchaser, the friendly employees, the clean paths, the clean water park, the well-operated and repaired rides, the Squid which i wish was still there, the shorter lines, the less advertising, the enjoyable State Fair days, or Kentucky Kindgom: The Thrill Park, but I will always have the memories, the old Sign of the park on Poplar Level road, the old Garbage can in the Italian restraunt, and that sign on the way out of T²... look for it the next time you ride... so many memories...
Dear god, did I just write all that? Man, why can't I write speeches like this? Well, I feel a little better.. kinda depressed though. Blame it on Six Flags... its all their fault. ;)
