Future of SFEG?

I know that there is a forum about SFKK, I was just wondering that you think of SFEG and it's future.

I've heard that SFEG will buy new land near Ocean Journey and add some type of rolller coaster. The land behind Island Kingdom will be for a giga-coaster, and the station will be were the Pepsi Groves are now, but "they" will remove the Pepsi Groves.

What do you think?

Not likely at all...SFEG doesn't have enough attendance to support a near $25 million ride...Wishing is a noble idea, but fon't get your hopes up...Look for A giga going to a park that can support the investment, not SFEG...

Millennium Force: The Future's Riding On It
I have never been to this park, so therefore I don't know exactly what the park is like outside of the pictures I have seen. Also, I don't know how much room SFEG has to expand, so this is all just an educated opinion of mine.

I believe this park should recieve a good sitdown, full-circuit mulitlooper; a floorless. It wouldn't have to be anything big, just a custom, well-rounded ride that delivers some decent g-forces and surprises.

Next, I think the park would benefit from another wooden coaster; a CCI out and back, something similar to Cheetah at Wild Adventures. Anything that delivers a good amount of airtime.

That would take care of major rollercoasters for the next 6 or 7 years. In the meanwhile they would focus on landscaping and customer satisfaction. That would keep park guests coming back for more, thus paying for their existing and upcoming rides and attractions.

Also focusing on the family would be nice. There is little or no competion for this park, and it would be nice if it was a place a family could go to have fun with their children.

This is a realistic example of what I think this park should get. It is important that this park knows what they are. SFEG has basically no competition, so why spend more than need be?

I hope six flags gives them something good next year (that we will be talking about).

Knott's did a great job at putting Jaguar in the park soaring over the park's midway, maybe SFEG could do the same with a family coaster or a swingthing.

I don't want a family coaster, SFEG has The Great Chase. I want a B&M or an Intamin Impulse.

It really doesn't matter what you want, but what the park and Six Flags feels would be neccesary to make a profit. They may add a medium sized coaster with pretty good stats, or possibly a launched like and Intamin Impulse, since these are simple to design (they are mostly clones).
