I for one would love to see MF knocked off it's butt finally. I think it is 1 of the most overrated coasters ever.
I can't wait to get to Carowinds n ride this baby 😊

A lot of people are comparing this to Millennium Force, saying it's better and whatnot. I've been on MF it's not that great. I guess because it's over 300' that's why they compare it. My number one is still Bizarro because of the speed and layout of the coaster. Is Fury similar to it?

No.
I rode MF this week and I was quickly reminded why it's one of my favorites. It was early morning, and it was so fast- I loved it all over again.
Those who try to compare rides like Fury and MF are only looking to fit a new, outstanding coaster in their own personal top ten list or something. But where?
Who cares? Fury 325 is one if the best, most thrilling rides I've taken and so is Millenium Force. The rides are not the same in so many ways it's not worth pitting one against the other. I think I'll just sit here and think about how much I like them both and not worry about which one's better.

I don't know. I'm still trying to figure out where Millennium Force's butt is.
I look forward to Fury, but Millennium Force will always be a sentimental favorite for me. I mean, if you've seen the Millennium Force photos here on CoasterBuzz, it's pretty obvious that I had a lot of access during its construction. I've been to a lot of media events, a lot of ride openings, but nothing quite compares to what I got to see while MF came to be. But despite my bias, I do think it's a special ride. It's pretty long for a ride that fast.

It's somewhere out there on the island near the rubber dinosaur butt.
This may be somewhat irrelevant to what you guys are talking about now but I recently got a night ride on fury. Front row, right side. I have never had a better time on it. It felt faster than normal. Defiantly worth the 90 minute wait.

Seriously, though, I'm seeing way too much of this ride on my news feed. I may have to move up my Charlotte trip.

The best time to go is in the fall on weekends because all the thrill seekers go to scarowinds so during the day it's mainly families. Even Nighthawk is a walk on and that's an extremely rare occurrence.
Fury 325 is the most amazing coaster I have ever ridden. It kicks MF to the curb. It has everything from start to finish it is amazing!!! :)
If fury 325 doesn't win as best steel coaster and millinneum forceless wins again there's $ involved somewhere

Mine is Feurri 325.
The trick was to surrender to the flow.
No love for Fieri 325!?
Dude, that is a one way ticket to Thrilltown!

Last edited by Raven-Phile, Wednesday, June 24, 2015 2:03 PMJust rode Fury 4 times this morning having finally made it over here. Rode Millennium early this spring and will say it's still definitely better. To be honest, Fury was a fun ride, but it doesn't even make my top five. Probably just outside my top ten even. Love some of the elements though.
