We don't have Funnel Cakes in the UK, and everytime I go to a park in the US, all I see is people stuffing their faces with Funnels Cakes!
It's not fair!
I finally had one at Kennywood and it was delicious - although I wouldn't recommend going on Exterminator afterwards. It was $3.25 with stawberries and ice cream.
I got alittle peckish at SFA and couldn't believe it when it was $5.50, plus $1 for strawberries or chocolate sauce - I went without!

A funnel cake is basically batter, poured with a funnel into hot grease and fried, then thrown on a paper plate with powdered sugar and, if you want, fruit, ice cream, whipped cream, sauce, whatever. They are some of the best theme park food you can get.
So what do you have at your parks across the pond that we don't have here? I'm curious.

They arn't some of the best theme park food, they are the best theme park food! The price that I would stop paying for them would be 15 bucks, I love them so much! It's not a theme park without them!

Funnel cakes are good, but I can never eat one all by myself, they make me sick if I do. It's usually a tradition for me to eat one at night when they close the rides down.

I love Funnel cake! there really good i eat the whole plate myself but i gusse thats why since april i went up 5pounds in my weight. in my coaster jernal i have a funnel cake count as well as my revewi for the park this season i have had 7 funnel cakes so far.
You can buy funnel cake mix and a little pouring thingy at Knott's Berry Farm. Perhaps you could contact them and order it!!!
Then again, it's WAY more delicious just after a coaster!

The BEST Funnel Cakes in the WORLD are at Six Flags Magic Mountain at the restaurant right in front of the Gold Rusher entrance. Evey Time I go there, I get one.

I thought the one near the entrance was good. But geez, don't try to get one when the park is closing. Talk about waiting in line.

Ya the line at Suzette's at closing easily rivals the lines for the rides themselves at SFMM. Even with two lines and four cash registers the line is still long becasue of the massive amount of people. That place is the easiest place though to get a free soft drink just go in the right side's exit and the machine is right there. When its busy the employees dont have time to see whats going on. I saw a lot of this when i went back in June.

That's funny. Actually, you should pick up Spacehog's new album and listen to the song called "This is America." Do most Brits actually think this about the United States? They are pretty harsh. The song (and album) are great though.

Everytime I go to Six Flags Magic Mountain, I see that line when I'm leaving. Never knew what it was for until now. Wow, tht's crazy, just fr a freakin Funnel Cake. How much are they at Suzzete's?
