Fun Spot USA opens Power Trip, the mouse roller coaster from Cypress Gardens

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Fun Spot USA in Kissimmee has opened another thrill ride, adding to its lineup of amusement park rides and go-karts. Power Trip Coaster is now open to the general public. Power Trip Coaster is a transplant from Cypress Gardens, where it operated under the name of Galaxy Spin. It was sold after Legoland Florida, now being constructed at the Cypress Gardens site, decided not to incorporate it into its plans.

It's a shame that Logoland didn't want the spinning coaster, because that's about as family-friendly as you can get. Nice to see it moved to a nearby park.

Yeah, I never understood that move either. That seemed like the ride to keep. Good deal for Fun Spot, I suppose.

Isn't EVERY park Logoland?"

Pepsi logos, Coke logos...you name it, they've got it.

The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

Logoland is the antithesis of Charmland - bitter rivalry those two parks have.

I still can't believe Logoland sold out like that.

Logoland! Now that's just begging for me to design a logo...

Ohhhh... Now I get it... Logoland. I was wondering what I was missing.

Sounds like a giant warehouse store that sells logos.

Maybe I should put a trademark on that?

Welcome to Logoland!

...Aaaand I'm done.

I'd officially like to buy stock in Logoland.

Better watch out there, Bryan. That's getting a little close to Trademark infringement (or is it copyright) and may be confusing to potential clients. You're using the same primary colors that Holiday World uses in their logo.

Was is T-mo that sued Engadget Mobile for using magenta?

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I'm loving the name of this coaster! It reminds me of a very underrated rock song from the late 90s!
