So, where this really isn't "new" news, I decided it would have to be a reminder
So, $13 for two people. Yes. Thats correct. Unfortunatly I found this deal out AFTER I bought my ticket
For $6.50 each, you can experience Indiana's ONLY looping steel coaster, (and only 1 of 4 operating Arrow shuttles) the new Safarie Kiddie Coaster, and a Pinfari Zyklon with Head restraints. Plus, there are several flats (including Flyers) and a glass house.
Please visit this little park, with the high cost of insurance, an the recession, this little Fun Spot may not be around forever.
Embroided T-Shirts are $10, food is reasonable, and its just FUN FUN FUN.
Thank you.

I seriously can't wait for this park. Even though Arrow Shuttles freak me out, I can't wait to try Afterburner...not to mention Flyers (its been waaaay to long) and Bayern Curve!
Either of you two- do they sell coaster patches?

That alone is worth $6.50. There's nothing quite as fun as cramming yourself into those little seats and then squashing your shouders down with restraints that serve no purpose. :)

Without the chaindog, you'd never get up the lifthill...
Anyone know how far it is from Michigan's Adventure? I'm thinking Fun Spot and MA might make an interesting trip one weekend.

252 already? Someone's having a good summer. :)

I figure, its a good 5-hour park. (if they stay open that long) (they like to close early on low attendence and rainy days)
I live less then a half an hour away and have never been there, go figure. I go to the go cart track across the road all the time but have never been to Fun Spot. Is that weird or what? You take for granted what you have right next door I guess.
I am just waiting for the new CCI woodie ;) wishful thinking I know.
The Man who owns the park now gives a lot of money to the University I went to. Tri State, he is very nice and it would be great to support him in any way possible.
And it would be about 3 hours from Angola to Muskegon.
You just go straight up I-69 then cut over on I-94 west to 131 North and then west on I-96 to Muskegon. Expressway all the way.

I took my 2 kids to Fun Spot this year. I am 1 1/2 hours away. We camped at Pokagon and spent Sunday at Fun Spot. My kids and I had a fantastic time. Fun Spot has a great collection of kiddie rides and flat rides. I'm considering heading back for another visit before summer is over. My 8 year old daughter was intimidated by the Afterburner at first but eventually rode it 3 times and loved it. It was her first looper.

We got on the kiddie coaster early with the help of a nice young lad. The Afterburner seemed to pump out good rides all day. Sorry you got the lower end of the deal.
By the way, Afterburner is rarely down this year (I don't really know too much about others) so that shouldn't be a concern for anyone considering a trip here.
Hey MagnumForce, where do you live? If you're only a half hour away, why not give Fun Spot a shot? By all means, let me know when you're coming, too. I'm always grateful to meet fellow enthusiasts in the parks! The offer stands for anyone, by the way.
