Fun 1971 Kings Island Video

I came across this promotional video for Kings Island while doing research for an article on the park. At least at the time the video was made Rivertown was going to be named Frontier Land (that sounds so familair....).

It lives at Kennywood. They bought the Tumble Bug and replaced their track and maybe even the sweeps, I'm not sure about that.

just pointing out the obvious, but any "live action" shot of a ride had to be filmed at Cincinnati's old Coney Island before it was demolished. Lots of good shots of the Shooting Star in the background where they were talking about the characters
