Fuji Q Highlands new coaster

I have just returned from a holiday in Tokyo and while we were there we visited Fuji Q Highlands.

The park has removed there Double Loop and the whole area is now clear with construction fences around it. There are plenty of banners on the fence proclaiming Episode 3 for the 2006 season (no starwars link), Episode 1 being Fujiyama and Episode 2 being Doponda.

Here is a link to a photo of one of the posters.

There might be someone out there that can speak a bit of Japanese and translate it.

I'm only guessing but I think its a pretty good guess coming from the fact that we know S&S have sold a 4th dimension coaster to a park in Japan for the 2006 season, Fuji Q Highlands already has an S&S Thrust Air and Fuji Q's last 2 major coasters have been record breakers that this could be the next 4th dimension.

Personally after visiting the park I think its a shame, the park is awful, the rides are run badly and very slowly and the park looks like its built on a dirty old carpark.

4-d, yes...but every one of those designs also make me think of another Intamin launch coaster...from the long bottom line all the way up into what would be a top hat....could possibly be that too.

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

Could it be one of these X-Car coasters from Maurer Sohne?

I would hazard a guess it's the new 4d. That said, I don't think Fujikyu is that bad. It's pretty typical of a park in its vicinity. Not every park can be Nagashima Spaland. ;)
