Please only respond if you've ridden BOTH. I know that the back rocks, but have never been in the very front. Is the view and the spiral worth the significanty longer wait? (i.e. 20 minutes)
I don't really know they are both great. I like getting held really high on the back brake so I would have to say the back is better, but the front is also great.

Don't Fight it, Ride it, RAGING BULL!
My Top 5 Coasters:
1. Raging Bull 2. Millenium Force
3. V2 4. Viper
5. Cornball Express
I liked the front better, didn't think I could appreciate how close to the top of the back spine I was. On the front, however, going to the top of that twisted track....WOW! But, I rode S:UE, and the "extra" wait was one train.

"Duff Man Says... Ohhhhh Yaaaaa!"
Current Favorite Coasters:
1)Raging Bull 2)Millennium Force 3)Medusa (SFMW) 4)Vertical Velocity (SFGAm) 5)Dueling Dragons (Ice)
I personally like the back better. The front has a great view and the spiral is great, but when you are in the back, you have no clue how close you are to the top, and that makes it kind of intense.

Cedar Point! The Greatest Place on Earth!
Both are great for different reasons! Front you get more spiral effect, plus that holy **** were getting close to the end of the line feeling. In the back the drop after the brakes hold is much longer.
S:UE is one of three rides I like better in the back than in the front. I was very disappointed with the front, you don't get close to the top of the track.
The front for sure!!!!As you are approching the top on the spiraling side It seems like you could just reach out and high five the stopper at he end, plus the spiraling backward freefall is insane!
I think that no matter what the front row because the launch is the best in the fron and u get most of the spiral.
I had the pleasure of riding S:UE on Wednesday at SFO And rode 3 from the back on the first ride, front seat on 2nd ride and 3rd from front on 3rd ride and I would have to say the front was MUCH better for several reasons. 1. You can see where you are going! 2. Any seat but the front all you see is the seat in front of you. 3. When the LIM's hold you on the back spike all you can think is s*** if the restraints fail, that ground is gonna hurt! ;) 4. The closer to the front you are the more spiral you get, which is way cool. And 5. The wind in your face is hard to beat!
By the way, X- Flight is awesome!!!!!!

Just a couple of G-force junkies!
they both have their good points, in the back you feel more speed and rush when you jet out of the station, but when you are in the front you have a great veiw of the spiral and get more of it,and also my favorite part, the feeling of the LIM's holding you on the back tower.

all hail the Force!!!God of all coasters!!!
FRONT!! The back is ok, but the front is amazing! When your in the back, its awsome on the back tower (straight) but it's not nearly as cool as the front.
I liked the back of SUE as compared to the front. I like the front of v2 compared to the back.
If you really want to know, ride it yourself. Everybody here has their own opinion and they are different for each person.
Definately The Front!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Front, only because watching the top of that spiral come closer and closer is one of my favorite coaster moments. I also like the back because the legnth of the back tower is increased significantly.

"Thank you for challenging the Raging Bull. We hope you enjoy the rest of you're day, here at Six Flags Great America."
front is probally my pick because i just like the spiral more than the vertical spike.
-------------
23 rides on v2 and 5 on front row. ahh what a life
Tough call for me I would take the front.
