From NZ to CP ... but how?

Near PKI is Lesourdesville Lake I was never there but heard their woody is pretty good. It's another possibility of another park along the way!

I enjoy watching someone's planned trip become planned by everyone else....LOL!

Having done two trips very similar to this I'd also recommend using Columbus as a hub instead of Cleveland.

YMMV.

Well the question is do you like flats? PKI has 2 of the Huss Giant flats. A Giant Frisbee and a Giant Top Spin. (http://www.hussrides.com) The Giant Top Spin is themed VERY WELL to the movie Tomb Raider (about the games) and Delirium may or may not be themed. PKI also has a new dark ride in Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle. It will travel through a path with Scooby Doo theming objects. You also get a laser gun to shoot targets that will interact with the ride.

Coasters:
Flight of Fear is a Premier Speghetti Bowl and probably one of the greatest rides at the park. It's a steel launched (0-54 in 4 seconds) and goes through 4 inversions in a very small area.

Vortex is the worlds first 6 looper and is made by Arrow. It has good airtime on the first drop, but can be a tad rough.

Beast is in my oppinion the greatest coaster I have ever ridden, sadly it has gotten rougher throughout the years, but is a 4 minute journey through the woods and can not be missed at night.

Son of Beast is also plauged by roughness, but is hopefully being fixed now. It is 214 feet tall and loops. It is wood.

Top Gun is one of the most intense suspended coasters, but also the shortest. It is pretty fun.

Face/Off has the standard boomerang layout, but it is inverted and has face to face seats it is really intense and fun, but has a generally long wait.

Rugrats Runaway Reptar is the first kiddie inverted coaster and is also fun for a round, but the wait is slowed for one train operation.

Adventure Express is a themed mine train down a wooded hill of PKI. It is also very fun, not rough and has no wait.

Racer is more like chaser now because they never race them anymore. It provides good airtime and is a good ride for a short wait also features a backwards train.

Other mentions:

Hucklebarry Dairy's blue ice cream can not be missed.

Drop Zone is a 264 foot drop and is very thrilling

The Eiffel Tower provides a view of everything in the park.

Rivertown Potato Works has very good french fries.

Hope I helped sway you to go to PKI, it really is one of the parks in the midwest that gives CP a run for it's money.
