What coasters have you ridden that when they first made their debut were one awesome coaster that you couldnt get enough of but today they are a ride that has declined to nothing more than average where only 1 ride is enough? I am not referring to something that you find boring today because of higher faster coasters that have surpassed it but ones that didnt age well, lots of trims added, have gotten rough, beat you up, etc.

Well I cant say I rode Revolution when it opened but I did ride it many times when it still had only a lap bar. In it's day this was by far my favorite coaster to ride. Actually it still is but it is suffering badly. I still don't think its rough at all like some candy a@#es say. The OTSR's have got to go and it would be nice to see some of the trims gone. Overall Revolution used to perform like a champ and still may be able to one day. We can only hope and pray that the get ride of the OTSR's. It may not be as good as it used to but I will still ride it as many times as possible.

LONG LIVE ARROW DYNAMICS!!
Psyclone at SFMM, the hands down "winner" of this category. This thing used to be as good as its namesake in Coney Island, now it is argueably the worst woodie in the world. It crawls around the turnarounds and barely makes it over the camel backs. Trims, and what feel like hexagonal wheels make this for a really bone-jarring and lack luster ride. I used to be willing to wait 60+ minutes for this, now if it is not a walk-on, I refuse to ride.

Gotta ride 'em all!
Mean Streak at CP is no longer a must ride.
Predator at six flags darien lake was the 9th best rollercoaster in the world when it opened in 1990. I used to be able to ride that thing 8-12 times a day and never got sick of it. Now everybody claims how painful it is and blah blah blah. Its was just retracked and stuff and now i think it is perfect again.
Definately Mean Streak at CP. When this ride opened in 1991 it was my favorite coaster. I liked it better than the Magnum at the time. You know there is a MAJOR problem when there is a massive trim brake on the first drop! The first year it was great. Just the right amount of speed and roughness for a woody. Then for a while the ride was way to rough. Now it is way to slow. It has turned into a boring dull ride. I will usually ride it once a season now and have no further urge to ride it.
I knew right off the bat that this would be another "rip on Mean Streak" category. Haven't we all come to the conclusion that Mean Streak is a "boring ride" (which I by the way, don't agree with). We know you guys don't like Mean streak anymore, but we don't need to hear about it in every discussion. How about we starting talking about some new things for a change instead of all this continious Mean Streak bashing.
O.K. In fairness to the endless Mean Streak bashing, please only name coasters other than MS.

Hercules at Dorney. It was actually fast and fairly smooth in 89 when it first opened. It had the same hopping like SOB has on the first drop. The turn over the lake was a bit rough but not to bad.
Now it's over trimmed, rough and slow. I still think it has one of the best runouts to the lift though.

Parks Hit For 2000! PKD, BGW,DP,HP,PKI,HW,SFKK,SFA,GAdv,SFNE,LC,GE,QP,CDP,LP,KG,SFO,WG,GE,KW,IW,WL,
Add PGA's Vortex to the list. Having been my very first B&M and originally glass smooth, I was totally impressed when it first opened. Now with all the more interesting and longer B&M(this has to be the smallest coaster they've ever built!), combined with the fact that it hasn't aged well at all, just doesn't do it for me anymore. The headbanging is worst than most Vekoma's and right up there with Arrow's, not worth even riding now for the headache you get for such a small/short ride.
I am gonna risk my life and say Raptor. It is still a sweet coaster, but it doesn't have that spike that it carried through 1999. Millennium Force defintely hurt it, but I don't appriciate this coaster quite as much mainly because B&M outdid themselves with Alpengeist and Dueling Dragons. But anyways, doesn't this topic apply to ALMOST all older coasters? Maybe not, maybe so.

DOWN WITH TRIM BRAKES!
Wasa Drachen Fire ever good to begin with? I would nominate that, or BKF.
