Frickin Frackin Synchronize with Adjacent Station

Am I missing something, or are other people having this problem? No matter what I do, synchronize with adjacent stations will not work. Yes, the stations line up perfectly with each other, and are on adjacent squares. Yes, synchronize with adjacent station is checked on both ride's operation tabs.
I just built a dueling moebius coaster that was running 3 trains... with S.W.A.S. turned on a train would sit and wait in station 1 until a train stopped in station 2. When the train in station 2 STOPS the train in station 1 is released, at which point the new train in station 2 sits there until a train stops in station 1 and on and on, ad infinitum. Nothing I do will get the two stations to release at the same time.
I did it all the time in the original RCT (built this beautiful set of 6 launched schwarzkopf loopers that were red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. When they all shot from the station at the same time it was beautiful.) What gives?

Pun is the death of wit.
You have to turn them on at exactly the same time. Pause, test/open, unpause.

It's also unfortunate that you cannot synch. up two stations heading in opposite directions... at least, I've never been able to.

I have been able to sync stations going in oposite directions. You must have the first block of each station aligned, not the entire station.

On to the original topic. How many blocks do you have? You mention having three trains on a mobius racer. You should always have an even number of trains a mobius. Please note that you must have two empty blocks in order for a mobius coaster to work right. If your coaster has four blocks, which highly possible with you running three trains, then you can only run two trains effectively. If you want to have a pair of trains loading while you have a pair running then you will need to add an extra block at the end of the ride.
