Freeway at CP

Im going to CP Friday, and im looking to get a freeway.

I have a couple questions..

Where do I pick it up?

What coasters can I use it on?

How does it exactly work? Can I use it once on every coaster, or can I only use it 5 times or something?

Thanks

Ok, this system is so rad and cool you'll wish you could use it on every ride. First there will be a blue topped booth by MF and WT. Around 10 or 11 they will distribute stamps. The time will be posted on the booth. When they start giving stuff out, it will say what time you will get to ride the coaster. I got mine as soon as the booth opened and got a stamp that said MILL 1-2. When it is 1, go to the ride and you will get near front of the line. On MF you will start on the ramp. O yeah they will cross it out with a blue stamp so you can't use it again. You can't get two for the same ride because by the time you ride @ 1 and wash the stamp off, there will be no more stamps. I don't know how WT works because it broke down. The time I did get on, it wasn't that long of a wait. If you ask me, go to a CP resort and get 30 min ERT and ride MF 3 times in a row in a hour! I love this park and you'll have the most fun on MF, PT, Gemini, and Magnum 1-3!

Millennium Force can get you to fall out and black out, a great ride.

You can only use freeway once a day, and only for either MF or WT, not both rides. I personally recommend using it for MF, since the wait time can be very long during the middle of the day. I haven't encountered a long wait for WT, and I've been to CP about 6 times this year, including this past Saturday (wait time was only 45 minutes).

Here is a good FreeWay article.

It should answere all of your questions.

Thanks for the info. Ill save myself the confusion and just wait in line ;)

No, don't do that! It's not confusing at all, just wait by the booth around 10 or 11 and you'll get a 20 min total wait. It was so funny because we saw people entering the 1 1/2 hour MF line while they could wait in the 5 minute freeway line. Be an educated rider! Long live forum information!

Hypersonic where are you?

I've used Freeway for both coasters on 2 separate occasions...this policy may have changed since it is later in the season, but I have used both.

The first time, I had both stamps on one hand...this was right after they started using it. The second time, I had a WT stamp on my right hand, and then I went over to MF for another stamp, but the old guy wouldn't let me saying, that I had to use the other one up first. After we got in line for MF and rode it normally, I went back over to the Freeway booth and there was a young woman working there, and we asked if we could get another a stamp for MF even though we had one for WT. She said sure, and we got one.

I thought it was odd with the conflicting policies of that day. Perhaps they have changed it since late May?
