The former Freestyle Music Park likely will stay closed for a third consecutive summer as time is running out for a new operator to come in and get it ready by the time tourists start rolling in, experts said. There’s only three months before the traditional kick off to the summer season in May, not leaving much time for a new owner or operator to close a deal on the 50-acre park off U.S. 501 in Fantasy Harbour, rebrand it, possibly change it by adding new rides, line up required ride inspections and do whatever else needs to be done before the park - which has been closed for two and a half years - is ready to greet visitors.

Apparently the park has New Owners.
I hope they get it up and running. If they can't at least make the park break even with only spending $27mill to purchase, and a few mill to get it open, then kill it and put it out of it's misery.
I was in Myrtle Beach a couple of weeks ago, and when I had some free time, I drove over to Fantasy Harbour and took a few pictures. Have a look at them in the Day in Pictures forum here at CoasterBuzz.

It's going to take another $27M to demolish the building that housed MonStars and have an exorcist come out to purify the ground it sat on. ;)
Led Zeppelin would be a nice consolation prize for Kentucky Kingdom with the loss of Chang. Most people probably wouldn't even know the difference. What a weak design, though. The climb up the lift may have given more forces than anywhere else along the layout.
