Free Ticket Offer For Regular Posters - Special Event - Monday July 21 - Rye Playland

Good Evening!

I have (in-hand) 5 Free Passes for Rye Playland for WPLJ FM Night - (Monday July 21).

It's a private event where only the listeners who wrote in and won passes can attend, and the park is closed to the general public. (Keep in mind they give away 10,000 of these freebies.) It's a fun night - but it gets quite crowded for a private event.

The pass is good for all of the rides and parking. The Playland gates open at 5 PM and the rides open at 6 PM.

There will be radio station type of games (and prize give-a-ways) and a decent coverband which will highlight one of the djs who is on afternoon drive.

I would like to give away a set of two and a set of three to any regular poster on this site.

All I ask in return is that you contribute to my trip report thread which I will post after the event. If you have to think whether or not you are a frequent poster, you probably are not.

I used to open it up to everyone, but the last winner of my Great Adventure Pass never posted his trip report which left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I'm sorry about the last minute details, but it is my hope that 5 people have a nice night tomorrow.

In the case of a rain cancellation, the event will be moved up one week. If you listen to the station, you will know about the date change. (95.5 FM)

Alright...it's after midnight and there are still no takers. I will not be able to log on in the morning, so I guess I will go into work on my day off and treat the custodial crews and security guards with the passes.

They are not enthusiasts, but they are great people who never get a bonus from "those in charge."

I am going VERY early to go fishing at the pier and then to the pool. Then it's off to the rides. Overall...it should be a nice day.

At least I tried.
