Who makes this? Has anyone seen or ridden one of these before? Could it be considered a coaster? Post your thoughts/comments...

I saw a similar ride (called Banzai, IIRC) in a "recent" ACE publication.....don't know the manufacturer though, and it's not in rcdb.....

Yeah, I figured Duane wouldn't include them on RCDB. He doesn't consider Super Loops coasters, either.

I think it should be considered a coaster, but super lopps shouldn't!

It looks like a coaster. What type of train runs on the track?

"Enjoy your record-breaking ride on Millennium Force"

If you didn't explore that site, check out this ride. I don't know about anyone else, but i have never seen a ride like this. It looks like it's set up at some kind of expo, so maybe anyone can buy one! ;-). I would give almost anything to have one of those in my back yard!
Forgive my ignorance, that was the IAAPA convention. I should have picked up on that, sorry. ;-)

If everything had a point, there would be nothing left to sit on.

Here is the translation of "Banzai Jr"

Here the little brother of Banzaï. The principle is all that has of simpler, a cable draws the trains at the top from the first slope before slackening it once arrived at the top. The coaches then follow the layout out of U until the complete immobilization of the movement. The height does not exceed 30 meters but the first fall gives a little feelings.

And regular Banzai:

You know the principle of the yoyo? Face the descents vertiginous of Banzaï several times of continuation before the movement attenue. I espere that Parktoo me will not want any to have borrowed these 2 photographs to him.

That definitely looks like a coaster to me because it actually runs on a track and is gravity powered unlike super loops that do not run on a track but are fixed to a circular ______ (can't think of the word) that just goes in loops.

I have ridden the high roller at a carnival once! It was pretty cool since while the train would go aorund the oval, the oval would go in circles sideways. It was quite disorienting. It was like a super looper and did not roll on a track. It wasn't rough but very dizzying and fun.

B&M Lover-
The Schwarzkopf/Kuka Robocoaster was a lot of fun. It is definitley something different and I would think it would be an affordable investment, especially for those parks like Scandia in Calfornia that straddle the line between large F.E.C. and small park. I did see and sketch in Kirmes and Park magazine of a Robocoaster placed at the edge of a museum's roof in (I believe) Berlin...which would definitley be an interesting sensation.

I have also ridden a High Roller at a fair in my hometown. It's a truly insane experience. The only ride that is more disorienting to me is the Zipper, although even on the Zipper you do not experience any lateral movement.

The production model is actually called a Crazy Train, manufactured by Larson International, Inc., which explains why it rides much like a Super Loop.
