Freak accident in UK
Yesterday during a private company christmas party a roller coaster crashed at Brightons Pier (UK). There where 8 people on board of the ride at this time, none of them where injured.
The roller coaster was in maintenance during the accident. The operator which opened the ride for the guests did not remember this. A part of the track was removed for refurbishment. The operator used the e-brake just in time to prevent a disaster.
The victims have been offered a free ride by Brightons Pier and an investigation has been issued. For further information, look here.
