Fox 8 showed the layout of the coaster at SFWoA!

well they could fill the tracks with sand to make those residents stop complaining, if its b&m
From what you are saying, it looks like a Nitro clone. PCW - It doesn't need to have a little dip to be a B&M. Nitro doesn't have it.

And how exactly would that stop all the people from screaming as they ride the coaster? There are several different noise problems created by a coaster, only one of which is the sound of the coaster going over the track.

And how exactly would that stop all the people from screaming as they ride the coaster?

You fill them with sand also ! LOL

ya i know. thats why i only said AC and RB. i was just thinking if they put one on the coaster were trying to figure out then that would be a good sign that it was a B&M.

Ohh, I get what you are saying. That would tell you B&M is designing it.

Its not a Nitro Clone. It doesnt have helices. Its and out and back with a big circle looking turn-around. Its not a clone of Nitro :)

Islands of Adventure delt with the same problem with Dueling Dragons by simply building a giant steel wall. It seems to have worked fine.

It better not be a Nitro Clone. Let Great Adventure live in glory for a while...sheesh

Do you honestly think that the average visitor to SFGAdv would know about or care that a duplicate ride is built somewhere else? I don't think so.

if it's a big circle turn around then it's obviously chance-morgan. Why do i say this??? Becuase all of morgan's past hypers/gigas have a giant turn around!

First of all, I'm tired of all you people out there who rip other people's heads off when they say something. Talon was filled with sand to reduce noise. Now, when did I say anything that consisted of people screaming on the ride? It was just a suggestion. Why don't you bicker about either if the Magnum is a real hyper coaster because is only has a drop of 194 feet.
No, please, God, let's not.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, just being cynical. I find it hard to believe that of all the members around Cleveland, nobody got a solid look at it and can describe it without being so vague.

Me? I'm hoping for an Intamin. Who cares if there's already one in Ohio? I know I don't... :)

Not trying to "rip your head off", just pointing out your shortsightedness. You didn't say anything about people screaming, BUT you did say that putting sand in the tracks to reduce the noise WOULD get the residents to stop complaining. The problem is that the sound of the trains going around the track is only one complaint that the resdients would have. Fixing that problem leaves others that still warrant a justified complaint on the part of the local land-owners so therefore it does not make them stop complaining as your post states. Even if the ride was "silenced" and made no noise at all (which is impossible for a coaster) there would still be other reasons for the locals to complain. Most of the posters on the board are kids and don't understand the concepts around owning land. Most adults don't think it's cool to have a coaster in their back yard, especially one that's huge with screaming guests on it for a 1/4 of the year. Just seeing it will tick off some of them. Just by having the coaster so close to their property will reduce the value of their property and that doesn't make anyone happy. Even if they have lived there for a while, that side of the park was always just Sea World, which is much quieter than any other kind of amusement park. Now all of a sudden here comes a hyper next door. See why their angry. I'm just trying to point out that these people have a legitimate complaint that filling the tracks with sand doesn't remedy. Sure it could be one step taken, along with tunnels or walls to stop the sound, but that still won't appease them. I think SF should just build the hyper on the Wild Rides half of the park and plan on building something smaller (i.e. water coaster, wild mouse, interactive motion based simulator) on the Wildlife side. Now that's my opinion, you stated that it WOULD make them stop complaining, opinion or not I doubt it is correct.
I saw it the story on Thursday night and all it was was a diagram of the proposed layout and how it would be placed in relation to the nearby houses. It was not an artist's rendering or a computerized model.

Best way to describe it is that it's a standard out and back with a large circular helix at the far end, which if you think about it seems similar to Steel Force or Wild Thing's layout. This pretty much confirms a Chance-Morgan.

But on the other hand, Apollo's Chariot has a similar layout but I highly believe B&M won't be doing this coaster (though I very much hope they do).

X Factor, who would have posted sooner but was up at the Point recently.

I saw the broadcast too. Did anyone think it was funny that there was more footage of Millenium Force than of Six Flags. Also, it was hard to tell anything from the layout they showed because it only aired for a few seconds.
