Forum Problems

I got a cable modem and the forums worked fine before but a couple of hours ago the forums been coming up real slow.. this is kind of wierd becuase I see the ad at the top and the coaster buzz logo but the bottom is whit and it takes literally a minute for the rest of the page to load.. anyone else having this problem or is it my computer?

Me too and Ive had a cable modem for a month now.  The server just must be busy.

oh ok.. glad to know its not my modem.

Yah.  Seems like the coasterbuzz server is having some slowdown today.  Maybe it's because of the badnitrus BDK video?

I am getting cable internet tomorrow and I hope this doesn't happen to me.  My friend has cable internet and he doesn't have this problem.  Hopefully it's a fixable problem.  I'll keep you posted for whether I have the problem or not.

I have dial-up, and mine is just fine....haha! I never thought I would be happy that I had dial-up...:)

Yes, it is getting better for me too. It must've been a server problem with the site.

I love my DSl and i haven't had any problems. Cable Modems are a hackers best friend. The main reason why you are getting on here slowly is because every one else in your neighborhood is also surfing the net and that cuts off your speed and REALLY slows it down. Cable modems are NEVER as fast as they say unless you are the only one to have it in your area.

DSL modems are a hackers dream too! I had DSL and hated it. But now I have a cable modem and a router with Blackice Defender and Zonealarm Pro. Noone is getting into this machine.

I'm having the same problem right now its not as fast as it was before. When ever I want to click on a topic its realy slow and it seems forever to come up does anyone else have the same problem? Also when I try to get on to coasterbuzz it seems like it takes for ever not as fast as it was before.

Even though the Badnitrus site is not on the same server as CoasterBuzz, it is on the same T-1 connection. That site has had 2,000 visits today and transfered nearly 8 GB of data today alone, most of that since about 2pm.
