Former Universal chief steps down

Edgar Bronfman, Jr., who bought Universal Studios, Inc. with his family's Seagram's money then sold it all to Vivendi last year, has decided to resign his post. On his watch, the company absorbed several record labels and built the amazing Islands of Adventure in Orlando. He remains on the board of directors for Vivendi. He says he's leaving because his skillset isn't best suited to the position.
