Former Schlitterbahn operator Jeff Henry accused of drug and sex offenses

A Wyandotte County District Court judge increased Schlitterbahn co-owner Jeff Henry’s bond to $1 million on Wednesday after hearing allegations that Henry arranged with a human trafficker to provide a victim for sex in a Merriam hotel room in July.

I know there's a lot of disturbing details in that article that are not humorous, but ending it with this quote from his attorney did make me chuckle:

“It’s quite troubling he was engaged in that type of behavior,” Burns said.

I liked the part about him trying to pay his (alleged) sex slave with Schlitterbahn tickets.

That was my favorite, as well.

Hi

Don't undersell it. It was, after all, 10 all-day passes.

Waaaaaaay back when, I tipped a stripper with park passes for Great America. I spent the rest of the summer waiting for her to come ride the Demon when I was operating it. She must have visited on one of my days off. Either that or made a point to avoid the Demon per my instructions to stop by. ;)

What an odd euphemism.

I guess I could have avoided that double entendre, but it seemed like too much work. ;)

Are you kiddin me? She gave those passes to her kids.

Kids probably already had season passes to use as babysitting while mama works...

But then again, what do I know?

Apparently more work than avoiding the Demon.
