Dale Kaetzel has been named Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's new park president, replacing Eric Gilbert, who is no longer with the company, park officials announced. I guess Six Flags' new CEO doesn't have kids to appoint in these positions. The talent bleed of Cedar Fair is Six Flags' gain.

Were most of these park managers that have been replaced around from the Burke era? I know SFMM's GM came from SFKK in the Burke era, and has since moved to the corporate office.
But what about the others? Looks like the new CEO is looking out for his old teammates.

Kaetzel Number ONE!

Eric Gilbert goes back to the Time-Warner days. He started at Six Flags Over Texas in 1990. It's a shame they just let him go. Hopefully he will surface somewhere else in the industry.
