A former employee of Kennywood has filed a lawsuit, accusing the amusement park of age and sex discrimination. Carol Palangio, 50, of Wilkins Township, claims she was fired as part of a staff reduction in January 2009, according to a copy of the complaint that was filed in federal court. Palangio said her job as operations manager for the park's refreshment company was filled by a man in his 20s with less than five years of experience.

It's not that difficult to update your track record. I thought that it was a good argument.

Whether or not you tick a box on a Web site doesn't mean jack about your experience. That's a lame argument.

What do you mean, Jeff? Next to referring to Facebook quizzes, the track record is my first stop for validating someone's perspective/argument. ;)

Has absolutely nothing to do with difficulty (or lack thereof), and makes for a very poor basis of assumptions.

Okay. So just because Vernon (who seems to me to be a really nice guy by the way) may or may have not been to Kennywood doesn't matter as to weather or not he knows that the park has lousy management? I suppose AJ could have simply asked Vernon if he had ever been to Kennywood, and what makes him think, that the management is "bad".
That is if Vernon's statement was interpreted to meant what AJ thought it meant.
And...Why is it so wrong to assume that someone hasn't experienced a coaster or park of it isn't on there track record? Is it really that unpopular of a CoasterBuzz feature? If it is, than what are you all waiting for? It recently became available to everyone who is singed up. It's easy. You all should do it. :)
So I''ll ask...
Hey Vernon, what makes you think Kennywood has bad management? I'm not picking on you, I would just like to hear how you came up with that opinion, if that's what you meant.
There we go.

Am I nuts? I see nothing in Vernon's post that implies that he thinks Kennywood has bad management.
Vernon said:
Not to mention that entrenched bad management is bad for the Company.
Agent and I both read that as "she was bad management, so she was fired."
That was not the case.
Hi
I read it as an addition to RGB's hypothetical suggestion of the possibility that she may have been a bad manager:
It may also be a case of an employee used to doing things her way for so long being unwilling to follow the new bosses' system.
Nowhere did I see any concrete inference from either RGB or Vernon that she was in fact bad management. How would they know?
Maybe I'm being overly analytical.
