A federal bankruptcy judge will decide whether a former owner of Conneaut Lake Park can reclaim ownership of the amusement park and its water company. Gary Harris argued the water company and all its systems and assets never were sold or transferred to Trustees, but that he only deeded over Conneaut Lake Park’s land to a nonprofit public trust in 1997. Harris argued that was true for the amusement rides, too.

Sounds fishy after reading the article. And I like that he never wanted the park until it started to possibly be a little bit on the upswing.
The guy was a crook. I actually went to school with his son while he owned the park, and his son was just as big of a jerk as his father. Can't say I'm surprised, I believe he went to jail for tax evasion which is why he had to transfer the park to the trustees. Anyways I hope Conneaut Lake keeps improving, I really enjoyed the park when I visited it.
