For the first X Riders!! (u know who you are)

Associated parks:
None

Yeah, me and a few others made history today, being the first ones on X, and let me tell ya'll...X is incredible...but before I get into details about that...lets start from the top:

I got there at about 8:30 in the morning and just talked and waited with other CB members and ACE members. At about 10:05 they opened the gates and I ran my*****off stright to X.

When I got to the bridge I found a few people ahead of me (like 4 or 5) and we waited and talked there for about 30 min.

They checked our season passes and let us through...in which I ran again...but this time getting to the queue first. An employee led us through the queue and then to a fork. I just ran straight ahead...and into the station where I nearly fainted at the sight I saw...

Two beautiful X trains sitting there, calling my name.

I ran to the front row and could barely contain myself...I was so excited. The other C-Buzzers were also there. When the gates opened, we got on the train, screamin' and hollerin at the top of our lungs...then we were dispatched.

The ride was absoluetly incredible. We start off making a u turn up to the lift, facing backwards, then when we got to the top, the seats reclined. We went through the dip and then at the top of the drop, the seats did a 180! And we were facing the ground during that insane drop.

At the bottom, the seats flipped as we went into the raven turn and we were right side up during the element, xperiencing some serious airtime. Then when we went over the bunny hop, the seats (and us) went into a backflip. We did the turnaround then dropped into the twisting bunny hop, where the seats rotated sideways while on it.

Then we went into the the second rave turn and trough the jungle of supports, into the brake run...

The entire train was going nuts. It was one of the best xperiences in my life. When we got off, I went to pick up a photo and found out I was pic # 2!. The guys who were sitting on the "east" side of the train were # 1.

But all in all, it was the best.

A history maker! Among the other people who were in the first train of X on 12-24-01!!

You lucky dog! I was suppose to get an early morning ride before anyone else but it was cancelled because they were still tweaking the trains. So I went for breakfast and when I returned, the whole area was packed! Just about everyone there was there for X, otherwise the place would have been deserted. After my first ride, I yelled out a word I can't repeat here but it caught the attention of one of the designers(Allan) who gave me a high five. What a winner we now have at the Mountain!

"I'm useless, but not for long, the future is comin' on"
X......IS.....COMING!
Yeah I saw Allan there. I had no choice but to go up to him and shake his hand.

Anyways, the ride is awesome.

*Remembers all of you* It was a great day to be a coaster fan...and now I (along with some very lucky others) have the honor and opportunity to say "We were the first ones to ride X! We were on the first train out"
That memory and that feeling will never leave me.

Edit: What happened to it? *shrugs* oh well

Yup, Kellen I was with you on the first ride in the front. We were soooo excited and I remember saying "I feel like I was high throughout the whole thing" and then I saw you near Deja Vu too!
