Football Superstar @ SFoG!!!

I saw one of my favorite Atlanta Falcons players, Ray Buchanann at SFoG last Saturday at Georgia Cyclone. I talked to him and hes such a great guy. Hes the best. He was with his family and had like 30 exit passes. That was a good day.

Oh yeah?!?!

Well I saw Donyelle Marshall of the Chicago Bulls at Chuck E. Cheeses about a month ago. My daughter got his autograph on a Chuck E. Cheese plate.

Seriously though, does it really matter?

Umm, I hope you know you can get fired over making a big deal about celebrities coming to the park. And yes, the supervisors do watch these sites and they know who you are...

I would think that someone making a post about a celebrity being at a theme park on a message board would be the equivalent of that person telling his friends in excitement after he got off work. He's going to get fired for that?

I was a supervisor for SFGAM and no we never watched these boards. We only cared that there wasn't a big deal made that day in the park. We didn't want so much attention going to the person that they couldn't enjoy the day. It is not going to hurt anyone saying this after the fact.

It is amazing that when Hosts would be low key about someone in the park, how few people actually knew they were there in the first place resulting in more fun for them. Think about it, why do we go to parks? Coasters! Well these guys want to do the same and not sign autographs all day.

When I was at kennywood in 2000, Mankind was there. I guess he was there because the steel phantom was being torn down. Even though he was surrounded by many people, at was a good day to be there. Also when I went last year, a football player from the pittsburgh steelers(forgot his name) was there and only like a few people noticed him including my little brother who noticed him.

I know Kennywood can get crowded, Derrick...but all of mankind was there? That's insane! ;)

Mankind (Mick Foley) was a special guest at SRM last year. He brought three make a wish kids. Here's a picture of Mick and one of the two kids sitting with/on Santa's Lap...

Mick was a great guy to meet ... he loves coasters and is a fun guy. Just ask Moosh...He had the "honor" of cutting in on him when Mick was dancing with Pat Koch at her "prom" at last year's SRM...

When I worked at Namco Wonderpark, a bunch of sports stars came in, like Tim Brown, Jerry Rice, Barry Bonds, Jason Giambi, etc.
