OK, Bob....I'll make a few corrections....since you asked nicely...;)

First, Slingshot LOOKS like a reverse bungee, but I *never* would have gotten on the ride had it not been operated with steel cables...that's ten seconds of my life I can't have back....oh well...:)

Second, Katanga, sadly, operates no more....it WAS a pretty well-run Skyscraper, but is SBNO until further notice. I started a thread about it a while back...probably about 6 weeks ago...apparently, they will sell/lease the ride, but the owners left NO contact info...:(

As for I-4....no comment.

bill, got in a few laps on MiB last week...NO wait *at all*...

For those wondering how long the trip is, Im spending to weeks in Florida and a week in Las Vegas, flying from one to another.

Anyone took a look at Stratospheres new ride, should be cool - and in time for my arrival. However this trip could have been the ultimate.... if only the 700ft Arrow Fish-hook coaster had been given planning permission, oh well I'm sure the rest of the rides and attractions will make up for that.

Big thanks for all your help and advice

Problems with I-4 there Gator? ;)

Honestly I don't see why they dont make that three or even four lanes all the way from Tampa and into Kissimmee. I have been on I-4 enough times to get in those killer traffic jams (especially during Daytona race days)

Although not a coaster, hit Blue Man Group in Vegas.

Heck, that's actually the primary reason I'm going to Vegas in August. The coasters will be incidental, the real point of the trip is Blue Man. (At least, that's what I keep telling the friend who's going with me, since she's not so into the coasters thing ;) )

I also suggest skipping manhattan express. Rough way overpriced and an overall tourist trap(still upset they canceled the fishhook).

I would never suggest to skip a coaster that you've never been on. You might regret it. Everyone has different tastes, so I suggest that you ride for yourself (with an open mind) and then judge.

A week in Vegas? That seems like overkill to me unless you're planning on going to Hoover Dam, Zion, or the Grand Canyon. A 3-day weekend is more than enough the Sin City.
