Florida Busch parks raise admission by two dollars

Sea World Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will raise single-day admission by $2 starting today. The other Orlando-area parks have not made any announcement on admission increases, but in the past an increase at one park has acted like a license to increase at the other parks.

well pc, it kinda depends on the demand curve more than anything, since we know the supply of amusement parks isn't changing.  Assuming a steep demand curve, where demand is influenced strongly by market price, then you are correct.  But the parks seem to be telling us that they believe the demand for amusement parks is relatively unaffected by price...meaning a shallow demand curve...and increasing profits.  But my business/economics degree is from UF (ouch!) so maybe I shouldn't come off sounding like an authority, LMAO....
