Florida approves use of protected land at Legoland site

Legoland Florida received permission Tuesday from the Florida Cabinet to overlap construction of the theme park on a protected parcel of the historic Gardens at the former Cypress Gardens. Legoland Florida plans to build a section known as "Miniland" in the park and the size of the section will extend two acres into the historic Gardens.
