It would be sweet if they had Chaos and troika up and running by Halloweekends, but I highly doubt that will happen.

No no, you see, that's the new intam launch system. they use laser beams and other light sources to propel the train. because laser beams go the speed of light so will CP's new coaster.

Flood lights.....New ride going down the Midway.....hmmmmm................Don't see the correlation.

Have Choas and Trokia been closed yet?

I believe that most of Chaos is sitting in the lot behind Gemini at this point. Troika, Chaos, and Paddlewheel Excursions are going to be closed for the rest of this season.

that's where chaos is going...

My educated guess is as follows:

I know that CP has had to do considerable work beefing up wicked twisters towers.

I know that they have done most of this work at night.

When I was at CP in June they had the crane and basket they were using for this parked at about where the lights are.

The lights are about where I would put them if I were doing work on the south tower at night.

Conclusion: That's probably what the lights are for.

Maybe testing out lights for Halloweekends?
