Flight of Fear Crew problems today

Yes it does, its more like a "U" bar with a foot brace over your feet.

So you believe that you are studying us, then kindly explain why you are the ones trapped in your seats.

I have always asked before I push down on TRTR. For our training, we were told to ask the people if they can get the restraint down any farther on their own, and if they cant, to see if we can push it down so that they could ride.

.....Yeah, I think that smoke is supposed to be there.....

danh: Um, Hello? Might want to re-read the two posts right above yours. Both CPLady and I mentioned "looseing the wait" (sic).

I like wait loss. That's why I try to go to the big parks in the early spring and late fall...........

Sorry about the spelling errors, i had just gotten up, did not know i was being corrected for grammer, thanks mom. I dont see how the problem was a crew problem. No where does it say that they have to force guests into their seat. If you cant fit, you can't fit. Deal with it, and hey working out is allways healthy anyways!
Well this might be a little different last summer on MF I was having trouble buckling my lap bar. Now I admit Im a big guy, but I do fit on MF, barely. My trouble that morning was that my shorts had bunched up and were interfering with the locking of the belt. The attendant helped me, but it was obvious that I was going to fit regardless.

OT-why do they have those belts on MF if a lap bar is going to fail there is no way in hell a seatbelt is going to hold you in. I realize that on BM, Impulses, S&S and Premier rides the belts are a quick check that you fit on the ride for the attendants (without locking at a computer) but that is not the case with MF. Whats the deal?

If the attendants didn't buckle some of the belts of the Premier lap bars, the trains would probably never get out of the station. Many first time riders just can't figure out where to put the buckle.
Actually Touchdown beleive me, an Intamin seat belt will hold you in.

Ah what the hell.....Magnum What?

S:ROS blew me away

On fof There is problems getting the "oomph" to get the bar down a little farther Your down pretty far in the train. I have narrowed the problem to I sat on the left of the train and that I was sitting with rob so we were in there pretty tight (no offence) I think they have been factors. I was overly critical of it.

As for loosing the weight. Walking around PKI a few times is great exersise I am trying to hit the park atleast once a weekend and then 2-3 times a week. with the atmosphere you really do not notice how far you can walk in a single day. Plus PKI is a free water park so I don't have to suck down the coke. Myself I have made tremendous gains since last year and I am trying hard.

I would like to say sorry to the FOF crew if any of them see this. You guys did try.

Well RideMan, in regards to Magnum XL-200, it is a much different animal than say Raptor, MF, and so on. If you think about it, with the seatbelt and lap bar designed the way they are, you are either going to fit or not. Plain and simple. I remember in training, they told other ride ops that if they had to tell somone they could not ride because of their body type, that they should try magnum. I think I can count on one hand the amount of times somone could not get themseves in when we were verbally helping them, and even less times somone could not ride. Biggest problem for us were people being too small. Of coarse thats with all rides. :)
Yeah, Magnum and Gemini...Magnum in particular...can accommodate just about anybody. On Magnum, you even have the option of putting somebody in row n-1 if he has long legs. But if that seat belt is too short it means one of two things--

a) The belt has been cut and repaired one time too many.

b) The rider is HUGE.

If (a), then try another seat. If (b)...well, sorry... :(
