Flight Deck GONE!!! (at CGA)

Well, the name is, anyway. The new one is Afterburn which is better but probably not quite as good as Afterburner.

Hopefully they'll carry it over to Carowinds etc.

It looks a little odd being Afterburn and not Afterburner, but it's still better than Flight Deck...

Sounds like something to be sponsored by a company making shaving cream. What happened? Does Sega have a patent on the Afterburner name?

^I had to look up Afterburner - the one coaster I knew had that name is the one in Indiana. Then I found out the Screamin' Squirrel in Russia bears the same name. So maybe the "full" name only works for S&S/Arrow... ;)

I can live with Afterburn. I think many people will call it Afterburner. Like so many people call Top Thrill Dragster, Top Fuel Dragster. Flight Deck was not good. I hope the oher Flight Decks are changed to this in lieu of Flight Deck.

Enthusiasts here b*tched about "Flight Deck." And for their sake and by some miracle they actually changed the name. Yet they still b*tch about it. :)

At least they didn't call it Reheat...
