Flat Rides @ RCT2 - CoasterBuzz

Why does it seem like there were more flat rides in the 1st RCT. I didn't really notice until now how bad RCT2 is lacking in flats. I went to do a recreation of a park and was just baffled at the lack of flats and also baffled more by how they didn't include some flats that you'd expect to be there.

I'm surprised as wel at the lack of new flats in the game but of course the expansion will be coming out in about 4 to 6 months & with it there's always the hope of some new flats.

There aren't that many new coaster types if any at all that are left to add to the game so I'm hoping for more flat rides to be added along with perhaps the rocket coaster.

Im surprised this one didnt have the shy coaster with it.

The only two coasters that really need to be added are the Intamin rocket and looper.

Flats are a completely different story, there just isnt enough, This is really cos there are just so many flat ride designs, all really varying on each other.

Vekoma Hammerhead Stall

Euro Fighter

Zamperla Volair(Flying) Coaster

plus additions to Flying Dutchman and Corkscrew coasters-banked turns

Overbanked Turns on Intamin and B & M

More Options on TA2K

but definitly More Flats!! Swings? Huss Rides? Intamin, Vekoma, and Zamperla Flats? definitly. the only type of stalls I'd like, are Arcades and Merchandise Shops, but NO MORE FOOD AND DRINKS!!

That may be true but Bayern Curves and Ring of Fire/Super Loops are very coaster like and should be easy to design as a flat.

I know this doesn't fit well into the "flat rides category but, I think it would be interesting to have employees that walked around selling things. Walking vendors that sold things that are in the souvineer shops.

Yo-Yo, Super Himilaya, Giant Ferris Wheel, Chaos, Troika, Turtle, Paratrooper, and........I don't know how to pronouce or even say it, but that ride Cedar Point just removed with the lady in the middle.

I absolutely agree! I was thinkin that too. Its so annoying having to build ramps over the tracks.

On the official site, you have the option of downloading scenarios and other features (i.e. pink water) but why can't Chris create new flat rides and have us download them off the web?

This way he can take his time to create them and make them available when completed instead of waiting for another expansion pack to come out.
