Flashback has reopened and Scream construction continues at Six Flags Magic Mountain

Posted | Contributed by Matthew

After more than eight months of Flashback being closed, Flashback reopened December 23. Scream continues to progress but due to new regulations, the construction site is blocked off. This edition of the SFMM Construction Report 2003 shows Scream construction, Flashback reopening, and the new X valley floors.

That's good news. Hopefully Flashback will be running smoother. Does anyone know when Scream is scheduled to open.

The otsr's are there because at some spots, some supports are very close to the car. Or so I heard.

Model coasters and rides
I was there on the 26th, and on the tram ride back into the park (at around 5 pm) I was sitting in the front and overheard the tram operator talking with an employee about it having a 2 month deadline, they were joking around saying it would probably be a peice of "you know what" just like X. I smiled and thought to myself, no way, it is made by B&M, they always make great coasters!

It's looking good, of course so do most coasters at SFMM.

I doubt it will take too long to build.
