Flashback at SFMM no more?

go here http://www.sixflags.com/parks/magicmountain/rides/index.asp?id=rides, and when you do step one (towards the bottom of the page) choose "thrills" and step two gives you a list of roller coasters, plus spin out, BUT Flashback is not on that list, however it is on the "full list" part, so what does this exactally mean?
Oh my gosh, Flashback isn't a coaster!!

If you are insinuating that it might be removed...I seriously doubt it. Not while they are in battle for most coasters. Methinks they just forgot to add it.

Pretty sure they consider Flashback a part of Hurricane Harbor, inasmuch as its schedule is dictated by HH...;)

In Oct. '00 it was closed for some haunted house thing. Then getting to see that sucker TEST when I went back to CA last was amazing, I *sprinted* to FB even though X was operating...the guy working below the ride even said they were cleaning up the shrubbery and stuff ("maybe opening tomorrow" he said). It NEVER even opened during ACE con. Maybe if they removed it (yeah, right) I could ride it at another park...like Evolution from GAdv. Perhaps SF has decided that rides that demand a lot of maintenance should just be moved to smaller parks...

In reality, hoping that they've listened to my suggestion and decided to move it away from HH, so it *could* operate more...I *said* hoping...as far as *thinking*, c'mon...;)

Why list it on their list of roller coasters anyway? It's more like a bonus then an expected part of the SFMM expieriance. Then again I'm not sure if it'd be a good bonus or not? ;)

Well, I think it's pretty obvious that omitting it off the one list was an oversight (especially with the new site just coming online)....if there was some plan to tear it out, I'm sure they would remove any mention of it.

I agree, getting on Flashback cannot be something you plan....rather, it's a "bonus".

Although, having ridden it at both Great America (SF) and Magic Mountain, I can tell you I would "just keep on walking by" even if it was one of those "bonus days"! Yeeesh, what a bad ride.

As I have said, neat concept....poor execution.

If you go to the ride list, it is on there. Maybe they don't consider it a Thrill ride, much like SFGAm has never listed Whizzer in the list of coasters on the SFGAm site.

Ugh....in my few visits to SFMM I have never seen it run. Sure glad I rode it in Georgia!

It was definitely running two weeks aog, and for some ungodly reason I decided to ride it. Ouch.

I've noticed that so few people go over there, you might get the impression pretty often that it's not running that day. It's more that there just isn't anyone to ride it ;)

I honestly do not know why they are keeping it around. It'd get more use at Marine World as a monkey jungle-gym.

One visit to SFMM and 1 full day of Flashback running.

...they must have known I was coming ;)

I think they're waiting until the "modern torture devices" section of the new SF site goes live - it'll be listed there.

We rode it the Sunday after Solace [3/2]. I doubt the ride is going anywhere but the best time to ride it is in the "off season."

Isn't that the only time to ride it?

I got my credit about two weeks ago. It sucked. But I got it.
